Does anyone know of a way to make a backup copy of either of these game systems disks?

I tried Alcohol120%, but no luck.

If not, Does anyone know a GOOD way to fix bad disks then, or can you replace a bad disk for a cost? Cant seem to find info on this either.

This is my only reason I dont like CD game systems, I liked N64 bvecause it used cartridges.

Why cant they make a cartride that actually has a CD in it, so you get the protection of a cartridge, but the speed and reliability of a CD?

To backup xbox games, you need a mod-chip. Xbox discs cannot be read in a regular cdrom drive. You can either hook it up to your network and transfer the files over, then burn and hope the burned disc will work in your xbox, or you can put a hard drive in the xbox and copy discs directly to it and play them from the hard drive

You can't backup GC games but I'm sure the manufacturer will replace the disc for you. Try calling their support lines?

Have you tried a CD repair kit? It just buffs out the scratches in the plastic.
