Test Drive

Xbox One is hitting the road with four decked out Xbox One trucks. Meet us at a Test Drive stop in one of the cities below and we'll put a controller in your hands, a game on the screen, and a spring in your step that'll carry you through to launch

Area One

Drop in** on one of our Area One parties to experience the new Xbox One console before it goes on sale November 22. With live music, live gameplay, and more, you and your friends can paint the town green. Be sure to bring your ID: This event is 18+ only!

Hah, what the hell, I checked in my area and it's only going to toxic-waste-dump craphole parts of town. It's gonna be thug life at those venues for real. What better match for 'brah' gamers to go call each other insults in person?

Sweet they will be at a Gamestop in a upscale part of town like 25min from me. Only problem it's the day of my sister's wedding lol. The rest as you said will be in areas I wouldn't want to visit.

They will be at UM at some point but I'd rather not have to elbow through frat boys who only know how to drink and play CoD.

I've seen the students at Northwestern. Hardly the frat boy types. Mostly nerds. >_> Plus, the campus is really nice, but it helps it is surrounded by 5+ million dollar homes on the lake.

Wow there going to be in the country park of TN 2hrs away. Unless their giving them away I won't be attending.

lol Arkaign.

it's in 2 places real close to me and in baltimore which is like 40 minutes away a buncha times too, but it's early/mid november so it's not worth it to go check it out to me. ill just wait it out.

oh man, I even saw a black guy!

the horror!

Do you not realize what a high crime area is?

Not every place is like beverly hills. 🙄 There's places around me I don't even drive through.

It's not even racist, it's the sad truth of the world.

The closest one to me is in Nashville, but if I'm going up there, it's not for playing XBOX. :\ Although, I'm kind of surprised that they would put their only Alabama pit stop in Talladega. They're going to confuse all the people there with them right turns as I assume they'll have Forza 5 playing! 😛

Going to be across the road from work pretty much, but not sure it's not really worth going to unless you can win a console. Best Buy will have them on display in November anyways.

Hahaha yeah, there's something like a 'murder map' I saw of DFW about 6 or 7 years ago. More or less you see nearly all of the murders in DFW taking place in about 2.5 square miles, including that part of Dallas, and another infamously deadly area in Ft. Worth.

It's nothing to do with race, because there are predominantly black or other minority areas elsewhere that are quite safe. It's just some weird cosmic alignment that makes some areas ultra dangerous. It's not even just dangerous on the scale of Dallas, 75210 was singled out as one of the most dangerous areas in the entire country :

http://www.bizjournals.com/dallas/stories/2009/06/22/daily2.html

There are about 150 murders a year in Dallas city limits, and almost all of them occur down there.
