Xbox One S Dim screen saver?

Whenever I pause a game or Blu-ray movie or something from a streaming app the screen brightness remains the same until ~20 minutes or so later and then the Xbox deliberately dims. I presume this was Microsoft's way of saving the screen. This usually happens after the controller is powered down on its own. This behavior of dimming the screen has changed. Now, if I do nothing with the controller it will dim in less than 10 minutes. Makes no difference if I refresh the batteries or even pull the batteries altogether. But I cannot figure out why it is doing this when I am watching a Blu-ray movie or streaming something. It seems that lack of activity for even five minutes on the controller causes the console to dim the screen when there actual video playing.

Ideas, thoughts?

Apparently this is a known bug that arises with a software update, get's fixed with a software update, and repeats. A 10 min auto-dimming while the console is in use has been reported back in 2017, 2018, etc. without any known user solutions. Some have suggested a restore, keeps apps and games, etc., but this hasn't proved to fix the problem. Seems a bug between the running app and the system monitor for awareness that something is running becomes broke.
