I got one of these Monday night. It's a bit heftier than the normal controller, but it feels better. The grips are rubberized and textured in a way that doesn't slide around (not that I had that problem with the standard one). It's hard to describe, but it just feels right holding it. The flippers on the bottom of it, which replace the buttons on top, I'm really undecided on. They might work great for some of the fighter games where you can't move your finger from the sticks to the buttons that fast. I personally found them a bit in the way. I'm sure it's just getting adjusted to them, but I found myself hitting one of them causing Lara (playing Tomb Raider) to jump at the wrong times. They can be removed however, so it's not like you're forced to keep them. I do like the bowl shaped "D" pad better than the cross. I haven't played with adjusting the sensitivity on it. I'm told it makes a difference from a buddy of mine. I think it'll be one of those YMMV things.
All in all, it's a def upgrade from the standard controller. I don't know if it's worth the $150 price tag for it. I'm sure there are some heavy gamers out there (even more so for the fighting game ones) that will get more use out of it than I will.
