I picked this VGA box from EBX before Christmas for my son's XBOX for $60. It's made by Innovation and comes in a green box. It has connectors for a gamecube and XBox. It also has all the additional cables you may need. The adapter functions like an AB switch. You connect your PC and Xbox outputs in addition to the audio connector to the adapter and then you switch between the two. You can can also just connect a monitor to the XBOX if you wish. My wife did not want an additional 19 inch monitor in my son's room.
Games absolutely look incredible using this device and piping it to a monitor. Textures and details are crisp and vibrant. There's no comparison when looking at a game on the TV versus the game using VGA resoulution. The only display that looks better is when he attaches his XBOX to our HDTV in the living room.
