Okay, I posted a bit ago about transferring games from my old XBox to a new one. I wanted to do it without a modchip or any hardware modifications. I was told to use the 007 AUF/Mechassault savegame hack that loads EvoX. I found this tutorial on how to do it (I'd probably stop at Part 4). I was wondering if this exploit is tempory, as in after deleting the save and powering down the XBox, will I have the factory dashboard and setup again?

does that "trick" work on all versions of the xbox? my friend just got a new xbox, and wanted me to mod it for her..

From what I've seen, it should, but I don't think it's been tested.

Are you talking game saves or actual games?

You need a modchip of some kind or you won't be able to boot to EvoX (no digital signature). Unless you want to hack it like that every time, you can change the dashboard but if you do that I don't think you'll be able to boot the xbox at all.

Just temporary.. Works on all xboxes, And it will work fine.

Ask if you have any questions.. Just make sure to get the ORIGINAL 007 (not the platinum hits ver)

Memory card costs money. Although last I heard, you needed a gameshark memory card for that hack to work. Maybe they updated it.

I don't think it works on all versions of the xbox either. Older versions should be fine, but new versions have had the dashboard updated (and an older version gets a new dashboard update if you connect to Live)

I've never done the game save hack I thought you needed a memory card to do it😛

i did this hack last summer.. but didnt use a memory card/007/mech or anything... used some exploit files(guess thats 007/mech) and some program

if i recall i just took out xbox harddrive.. backed it up.. put some crap on to the harddrive (pain in the arse process) and it booted to evoX.
