Xbox Live down today...

I read the notice on Sunday and already forgot. I came home from school today and no Xbox Live. They're upgrading all servers for Xbox 360.

I stopped paying for XBL long ago. Even though it's the best online console service network, I just didnt use it enough to justify paying for it. Also, I decided to throw XBMC on my xbox, so I didnt want to risk getting banned.

Coincidentally enough, my Xbox Live subscription is up for renewal on November 23rd. 🙂 I'll have to cancel and wait until EB has a good package.

I havent played on Live since around June. I only ever played Halo 2. My sub runs out sometime next month.

Is there any way to view your XBox Live account info (renewal date, cancel subscription, etc) online? Couldn't find anywhere to see that info on their website.

via xbox console. login and goto account settings ne stuff.

it should be back up now i think ... xbox live that is.

xbox website is back up, and live was down all day yesterday. they said it would be down for 28 hours so i would assume its back up now.

Yep. Major Nelson's blog confirms that it is back up. Features like "My Xbox" will be up in the next couple of days.

Check out some Wal Mart/Target/KMart stores. Lots of them are clearancing the old 1 year packages out for $20-25!

I know that but I'm at work and when I'm at home I never remember to check that stuff. FIgured there'd be a way to do it online since it's Microsoft and they should be able to figure that out....
