Xbox live and COD4 problem

I am on my 6th prestige going on seventh. I prestige, and level up a few times, turn my Xbox off and it doesnt save the prestige...

I have tried it 3 or 4 times and it keeps happening.

What gives?

Speaking from experience, there are times when your stats get reset. 🙁
