Srsly tho, I considered Prime. But I knew if I had it, I'd spend even more money there. If you've got the coin, it's a damn good deal.

I'm only in the trial, so I haven't paid a dime. Plus you can split it between 4 "family members" so you can get it for $20/year if you can find the "family members" to go in with you. But yes... if you don't buy enough on Amazon it's not really that worth it. It wouldn't be hard to make $20 worth it though.

This deal is live again, in that last week Amazon upped the price back to retail of $19.99. Today at noon, it went back down to 16.54.

I think they only do it to match prices. I remember they changing to match Buy.com, but as soon as Buy.com went out of stock, their price went back up too.
