Xbox Live 12 mo card + 1600 points $39.99 at BB B&M after PM

Taken from FW. Didn't see it posted here.

BB is offering free 1600 point card with purchase of 12 month Live card.

Take both to the register and have them rung up. PM the Live card to CC for $39.99. When cashier hits final total, it will apply the deal. Total will be $39.99 plus tax for both.

I had absolutely no problems doing this over my lunch break.

I just nabbed a card from Wally World on Sunday, but luckily I've not scratched it off yet. I think I'll return it tonight and stop by BB and do this.

I'm going to go do this right now during my lunch break, I'll be back in an hour and tell everyone how it goes.

Yeah. I did it an hour ago.

Bring live card and points card up. Both ring up at regular price. Get a PM with prinout of CC price. After he adjusts it and hit for the final total, a promotion screen pops up. When they click OK, it zeros out the price of the point card. I had no problems at all. Guy seemed like he was about to do the same thing for himself when he saw the total.

As far as folks can tell, it's an unadvertised special this week of 1600 points free with the 12mo. Live card.

I'll have to go back and do it again... I didn't know I had to bring them both up so I just got the 12mo card for 39.99.

Bah, you've failed us all! 😛

Kinda sneaky on BB's part, don't tell anyone they can do it and they really won't lose much for it...

I know!

And when I grabbed the 12mo card alone.. I remember thinking, "well this obviously isn't going to get me a free card". But I really didn't think that if I brought the other one up it would zero out. I thought maybe the receipt would have some special rebate offer or something.

Bummer. Oh well, I'll do it when I get off work and report back 🙂

Sorry I didn't put all the info in there. I should have spelled it out a bit more in the first post. I'll edit right now. I think you'll have success on the way home. A couple more friends of mine have done it along with plenty from FW. I apologize for causing you to make 2 trips. No one should have to go to BB twice in one day.

BB is literally a 45 second drive from my apartment, so it wouldn't be a biggy for me. But for this poor soul...

Don't worry about it, it's only about a 5-10 minute drive. I need to make an appt. to get my Sirius radio installed anyway.

Speaking of that, is Satellite radio something that needs a professional install? I don't think it is going to be "implanted" into my car... maybe I should do some research and do it myself.

I'm looking through their ad and not seeing the subscription card + points card combo anywhere. Ideas?

It isn't advertised. Just bring the two pieces to the counter and have them ring them up. Make sure to price match also, Circuit City has it for 39.99.

see the info says Xbox 360,

then there is another 12 month card for xbox that is 69.99..

so i am confused.

for 40 i am all over this. for 70, not so sure...

Hmm... that is kind of strange.

I'm awaiting the xbox 360 shipment from another ATer this week.
What's this Live or PM card all about?
Someone please enlighten me.

Nah, you can install it yourself. Most radios come with the self install car kit. Mount the antenna on your roof and run the wire into your car. I wired mine into my trunk and then into the interior of my car. Plug the radio into the suction cup holder, mount it on your windshield, plug the antenna into the radio, plug the car charger into the radio and set the FM modulator to an unused FM channel. If your car has an aux in, you can connect a stereo cable between the two instead of using the FM modulator.

Oh, and to keep this on topic, I'm going to try to swing by BB for this. 😉

The $69.99 card comes with either an Xbox Live headset, or the Vision camera, depending on which package you get. You can buy the 1 year card alone for $49.99 regular price.

FYI target has a 12 month live subscription box for $49 that comes with a $20 off any xbox 360 game (MIR)

Those rebates expired back in June. The current promotion is free Bankshot Billiards.
