You're kidding me. These are still hard to find, much less in demand?

My BB had like 20 in stock and so did the Target near my house.

If you are in or around the Pleasanton area ,the Toys R Us on Crow Canyon Road had 5 X-boxes last night. Run there and you still might get one.

I'm in Michigan and have never seen an XBOX yet, I saw two gamecubes one day at ebworld, but other than that, I haven't seen either system.

Same here and I am on the East Coast,. The BB B&M near me had about 30 on Monday and still around 20 last night. They same that they have a "firm commitmemt of 100 per week until 12/24. MS is promising that 1 million units will be shipped by Christmas so the numbers per store will includes as demand drops in the next weeks or so

Maybe if you weren't surrounded by farms and woods, then you'd see how rare these are ;)

Just came back from Best Buy B&M they have plenty xbox instock, also there is 10% which can be use for the Xbox. I didn't have the 10% coupon nor do I have the money for the Xbox, but people were able to use 10% coupon during check out. By the way I picked the last 2 Dreamcast consoles for $49.99 and they still have 10 Dreamcast sport package for $69.99.

they had 5 or 6 at the local walmart in Riverside. No gamecube tho.

It seems that the GameCube is selling much better and faster than the Xbox.

Since this is a thread about where to find xboxes..... If you are in San Francisco..... They had about 100 in two Targets, 30 at a ToyRUs, 30 at Circuit City, and 20 at ebworld....

As for gamecube..... none!

The Gamecube isn't selling much better than XBox. Nintendo just ships out less Gamecubes than Microsoft. Microsoft is playing it smart and not making the same mistake that Sony did last year w/ the PS2.

... Should have checked those prices on SlezBay first. You will be lucky to get your purchase price back not to mention any sales taxes you paid and SlezBay fees.

You may be right. If they don't sell, them it's back to Target for a refund and I'll just live with losing the listing fees. But it does seem like everyone and his brother has a box up for sale. I guess it's really not that hard to find. Oh well....................
