That seems like the only reason anyone does anything anymore. Take a look at the linked Headliner story above. It mentions that this "ProjectX" group has "released" 40+ games but then ProjectX goes on to say, "we have no idea if this release will work on retail
XBOXes." WTF is the point then?!? Are they a bunch of 13 year-olds looking to get a "rep" in "the scene" or something? What a bunch of brown-nosers!

That's even worse than all those Napster fiends that were always bragging about how they had thousands of MP3s. Too bad they were always crappy quality with pops, clicks, and bleeps. And sometimes they weren't even complete files! :Q At least they kind of knew their MP3s worked though...

I'm just ranting though. None of this really applies to me. I don't have an X-Box and probably won't pick one up. And, I don't warez anymore. I'm not here to pass judgement on other people, either. It just irks me that all these "1337" groups waste everybody's time with shoddy work. Then they proudly claim it as their own??? I'd be embarrassed...

uhh...ps2 also has dvd games and they have already been successfully cracked. back here, we have devil may cry on 4 cdrs. they've also found a way to compress data(decreased quality) on dvd games making them fit onto one cdr.

i also have a dual-mode (JAP & ENG) gamecube. you can switch region modes with the flick of small switch at the back. it's like having two systems in one. weird

and xbox doesn't suck.

dotn forget to mention that they are pirated DVD version of the games now. this is more recent. But you need a new mod chip. Yeah I was in thailand when my cousin's hubby brought his PS/2 for some mods
