Xbox Hard drive

Apperently you are able to pull it out and reformat it in FAT 32 or NTFS.
But I dont think you can reformat it and put it back in the Xbox.
It uses a totally different file system.

You'd have to unlock it while still in the XBox, then reformat it to a Windows compatible file system (on your PC) in order for it to work on your PC.

You don't turn it off. You unlock it. Turn your xbox on with the case open, wait for the "click sound", yank out harddrive.

But it's not worth it. You're only getting a 6-8gb 5400rpm seagate harddrive with 2ms seek time.
