Xbox: Ghost Recon online play

Anyone play this game, particularly the online mode? I bought it this weekend and the single player was good. I was really disappointed at the online play though, I could only find about 8 people online all day Saturday. I started a game session and only one person joined in 30 minutes. There was a single group of guys that camped spawn points and had fun making it impossible for the rest of us to play. I took the game back but I really want to play it, just wondering if anyone here ever plays and wants to get a game going.

I play ghost recon online. Sometimes its a little hard to get a big game going but there are usually people on to play with. My name is MallFoley if you ever want to play.

I guess it doesn't help you now, but Firing Squad wrote an article about XBox Live. In it they stated that one of the problems with Ghost Recon is that individuals have to host the game themselves. There are no dedicated servers for Ghost Recon, and I guess it's kind of rough on a 64meg machine. Red Storm has apologized, and promised to correct the problem. So maybe the online situation will get better in some time.

This is coming from someone that doesn't have an XBox, and doesn't know anything about it. I'm just repeating what I've read.

The game is really good. But if I am not getting my money's worth, I ain't gonna buy it. Red Storm needs to get their act together and put forth a product people are gonna be able to use as advertised.

stupid users and disconnected theri servers, piss me off.
stupid users who have a weak upload line and play with 8 people ...


please get some server farms and host them ..

I absolutely love the game. But pretty much the only time I play it online, is when I've already arranged it with friends.

The online gameplay is pretty good on the PC. When it came out it was pretty easy to join servers. But I havent played it for a while now.
