When did you complete your submission? I'm trying to decide if I would have had any chance at making it.

Well I went to the site at 12:01am and they hadn't changed anything, so I just ignored it, went to bed, went to my classes, and then got home and at 2:37pm (EST), I filled out the form (apparently it had been open for quite some time at this point, though).

I signed up and didn't get it :(. I guess I'll just buy Crackdown or something. Doesn't Crackdown come out this week as well?

"Qualify and register as part of the ?Rule of Three? program (NOW CLOSED ? all qualifying gamers will be notified between February 11th and February 17th) "
From http://www.halo3.com - so I guess you still have a chance...

I coulda swore that MS already announced the winners (or sent them an e-mail) for those who registered on the site. I think I received an e-mail saying something along the lines of "we're going to announce them in the following week, if you receive an e-mail, you're in." I got that about a month ago.

Where is my free iPod?

Its up your ass, in vibrate mode.

I'm going out on a limb here, but I expect you are the only person with a vibrate mode on their iPod.

Just a guess, Mr Slave...

Halo gives me motion sickness... I can't play it for more than 15 mins at a time. Yet I play all FPS on my LCD with no problems.

That's the regular Halo 3 beta signup, not the Rule Of Three.

Uhh yeah it was... there were three ways to enter, that was way #1.

Here's the e-mail I received on 1/22:

Greetings Halo® Nation and thanks for your interest in participating in the Halo 3 multiplayer public beta.

Phase one registration is now closed. If you have been selected to participate, you will receive an email notification within the next two days.

For those of you that didn't make it in - fret not as this phase one was just the first of three ways to secure entry into the Halo 3 multiplayer public beta. The next two paths of entry are:

* Qualifying over Xbox Live® via the "Rule of Three" program in early February
* Purchasing marked packages of the upcoming game CrackdownTM, which hits store shelves in North America on Feb. 20

To find out more about these opportunities visit halo3.com for detailed information.

What are you not getting/understanding? The first email you got was back from the Halo 3 signup. (I got the same one) This email in question is the Rule of Three program. (I got the same one just today as a matter of fact)
