XBOX Experts, your Help is needed for Mod

The XBOX belong to my nephew. He messed up the DVD drive while trying to retrieve a game, now the thing won't close.
I was going to get one of those Samsung DVD drive, but i thought that, if i am going to open this thing, i rather do some more stuff.
So i would like to have the latest Modchip installed.
a 40GB Hard Drive installed( i will provide it)
The Samsung DVD drive installed.
Everything like firmware updates and stuff.
I will take FULL responsabilty if any bad happen.
I need a quote, I will pay for shipping with my UPS account. Let me know how much.

PS: This XBOX works,power up and else, the CD tray is just stuck open.

They make the best solderless modchip avilable (2.3+ lite I think? That's the one I have, simple to install). But you can also find instruction on how to dissasemble the Xbox there as well. It's not terribly complicated either.

I think I wound up paying about $50 shipped for the chip. It's more expensive than others, but they require some fairly delicate soldering, and I'm not the best at that.

XBOX Parts

The Samsung XBOX drive is expensive everywhere I've seen it.
I use the Thompson w/ no probs using various DVDR & CDRW media (CDR media is a no go).

I would also go w/ the TSOP flash if you have one of the earlier revisions. Cheap & Easy!

Also I would start looking around the net for the Slayer's Evox ISO - a must have to start off with.
