Xbox DVD kit rebate work with the XBox & 2 game bundle?

I got these last week and am starting to think that I don't qualify for the DVD rebate because of the bundle...

There are conflicting reports in this thread. Sorry I don't have a clear answer.


I would definitely try to get the rebate, worst case they deny it.

I've received MANY PMs and messages that the rebate DOES work with the Sega bundle.

There is an MS phone number you can call to verify.
Don't remember it off the top of my head, but it is documented in the BIG LIST thread

OK goodie. I did call to confirm that the rebates are still good, and hopefully my cashola will indeed show up!

Remember...they only refund what you paid, UP TO $30.

Lot of folks thought that they could pay like $19.99 for the DVD Kit (special price Target had for it one week) and make $10 on the rebate.
No such luck.

At least, not without doin some MIGHTY shady receipt swappin magic. :frown:

I paid $30 for the thing...I liked when I bought the HDefinition video kit - I went into bestbuy, found that gift certificate with the $5 coupon, and bought it. Put $5 on it and immediately opened it up and ribbed the coupon out, went back into bestbuy and then bought it for $10 plus the $5 coupon and the $5 certificate. Now that's a hot deal!
