Does anyone else agree with me that the old controller wasnt too big?

The only thing better about the smaller one is the trigger placement - you can fire off some rapid pistol shots in Halo using the small one, much better than you could with the duke. But I prefer the Duke hands down.

I much prefer the Duke controller. I was able to find one a few months ago to replace one that was dying. I was extremely pleased when I found it since nobody had them any more.

My hands are about 10" across, from pinky to thumb outstretched, so i kinda need a bigger controller.

I can use either one. I picked up one of the older ones on close-out at Fred Meyer's, recently.

I FREAKIN' HATE the new S controller!!! I loved the original controller, and now I can't find it anywhere because of all these little pussies with little hands prefer the S controller! :|

i didn't have a problem with the bigger controller, but the smaller one is more comfortable

I liked the bigger controller for games that don't make heavy use of the white and black buttons but for games that use those buttons alot I need the smaller one because thier too damn awkward to reach on the big controller.

although my favorite controller by far are the logitech ones

I prefer the larger controller hands down. I own 2 large ones and a controller s, and the controller s gets used only by friends lol. I hate it, im so pissed that xbox 2 will be shipped with the s. I hope i can still use my big ones with it.

I agree... I still use the original controller and love it. I have a mad catz controller for player 2... and that thing is difficult to get used to.

if there is the option of smaller controllers or the original big controller I always opt for the giant original controller. I find the other ones tooo condensed my fingers start smashing multiple buttons at the same time.

I can use either but I prefer a tighter grip on the controller, so I'd take the S if I had a choice.

I like the PS2 controller over any Xbox controller. But the Duke is better than the S.

Actually, I kinda prefer the Xbox over the ps2, but I hate the placement of the d-pad on the xbox. Anyone know of any xbox controller that has a d-pad for the left thumbstick?

I don't think the original controller was too big, but I prefer the smaller version, I didn't understand all the comotion people were making about it when it first came out, it wasn't anywhere near as bad as people made it out to be.
