Xbox and wireless networking question...

Yah i had that same router (although i exchanged it to the D-Link 624c). Your configuration was the configuration I used (with the same wireless card same connections) it worked without a hitch right out of the box using the network configuration utility that came with the station or card.

Any reason you switched to the DLink? I'd like to have one of these sometime soon.

D-link gives you more controll over your firewall and has that Atheos (in most 624 and all of 624c (one antenna)) chipset that gives great bandwidth over distance. It cost the same amout at BB as the Microsoft so I got it instead. Although the MS router was a snap to install...

Excellent. Thanks for the reassurance.

I figure since I game on my Xbox about 20:1 compared to my PC (especially online), hard wiring the Xbox would be the smarter move.
