i just bought an xbox vga adapter to hook my xbox up to my lcd and im wondering if i need to buy a special adapter to i can hook up my z680s to the xbox....

I know the z640s came with some kind of adapter to use with a game system.. dunno where I put it or how it works though.

I just use the RCA to 1/8" audio adaptor to convert the xbox output to a standard input for the speakers. It costs a few bucks at most. Not sure about the logitech adapter though.

How do these speakers sound for the Xbox? The price is down to like $225 -- probably low enough to convince my better half they are worth the dough (XBox == our DVD player, slide show, etc so she has an interest in it). Anything would be better than my $30 Creative 2.1 special, though. 😀

I have my Z680's hooked up to my Xbox via the Optical out, per the High Def pack- which can be purchased for 20 bucks pretty much anywhere-

They truely sound great though-

Microsoft makes their own high def pack for the Xbox. You can find it at any video game store or Best Buy, Circuit City etc in the Xbox section.
