Xbox 360 wireless controllers

Has anyone else had problems with the Xbox 360 wireless controllers?

Off and on I won't be able to get them to connect to the system. They'll work fine for like 2 days, and then all of a sudden stop working (the system will not recognize any controllers when you attempt to sync). The remedy I had been using was simply unplugging the system and reconnecting, but apparently that is no longer working. Has anyone else run across this? I have a feeling its wireless interference, and have even tried unplugging everything in the house to no avail. Any ideas?

I had that problem at first.

How are you attempting to sync the controller?

I have been holding down the silver/green Xbox button (the one in the middle) for a couple seconds and it seems to sync.

"Usually" it would work when I did that. However, i'm also using the sync button (little button at the top) on the controllers and the system itself. I'm surprised Microsoft didn't opt to have separate channels available on the controller...this would have alleviated a lot of problems.

I never could get it to work with that damn sync button. Always have to hold down the middle X button.

I have also been turning the xbox on with that button, so it seems to recognize it right away.

I did by a wired controller for my second one because I was having problems as well.
