xbox 360 wireless adapter vs. D-Link Bridge?

Hey ATOT,

So I bought the D-Link DGL-4300 wireless "gaming" router for use at home.
Now, I have an xbox 360 and I want to connect it to the internet wirelessly. My dilemma is that I need to choose between two products that are priced exactly the same @ 99.99.
Do I buy microsoft's xbox 360 wireless adapter, which according to their tech support is only capable of 54 mb/s, or do I buy the D-Link DGL-3420 gaming adapter, which *should* work with the xbox 360 and is capable of 108 mb/s?

I would go with the bridge, especially if you use WPA/WPA2. Wireless bridges are extremely reliable and most likely has a better antenna. 108mb/s vs. 54mb/s doesnt really matter since you are never likely to get even close to those speeds, but the 108m/s capable one will probably have a slightly better throughput then the Xbox one. You can also use the bridge on any other consoles with a LAN port. Of course with the wireless bridge(gaming adapter) will require an extra power cord, lan cable, and some more lights to irritate you.
 
i just use a netgear router and do a wireless bridge with it... $40 and i can connect other devices that are next to tv like my ps2/xbox/xbox360/
 
ya i just bridged my wrt54g and wrt54gs for my 360, and i think im going to bridge my belking router too somewhere across the house.
