Hello, I own a 46" Class (45.9" Diag.) 610 Series 1080p LCD HDTV (2010 model). My XBOX 360 is hooked up to it via HDMI. When I play my games though, I'm noticing that (especially during video sequences) the images are really laggy and the shading is incredibly poor. Basically it makes the image quality look very "blah". I at first thought it was maybe poor graphic engineering on the development side but it isn't isolated to one game, I've seen it with several. The settings on my XBOX 360 are set to 1080p so I'm assuming its a setting on my TV thats causing this lag? Anyone have any ideas or experience with this same issue? Thanks in advance!

I had a friend purchase a Vizio TV that had a feature that was something like "SmoothMotion". It was a feature that is supposed to smooth out the motion blur. I believe it may only be on 120hz TVs, so if yours is 60hz this might not even apply. Anyways, when the feature was turned on, it made the image on the screen (movie or game) seem like it was in very slight fast forward. It was super annoying and made watching anything with motion incredibly distracting. As soon as it was turned off, everything was normal and looked great

Read the manual for the TV, look for the 'Game Mode' setting or something named similarly. The weird graphical and lag issues are usually related to the post processing features of current TVs that are usually turned off in 'Game' modes.
