Xbox 360 - USB Flash Drive as HD

I have one off-site that I was to use the USB drive as the main storage device for moble purpose. I've read some reviews on the performance and don't think a $60 16GB flash drive by Scandisk certified for Xbox as using as an HD.

Is anyone using a USB Flash Drive as a Hard Drive in the new 4gb Models? I've seen a couple drives for $20.

Writing to them to install games takes longer than a true HDD but reading from them is fine.

I use a 16GB flash drive for game saves and what not to move between my two 360s.

I'm using one as the main storage on a Jasper. Performance is fine. There's a current rebate deal on the Patriot Xporter that I have.

Looks like the Patriot xporter boost is the one to get for the price.
