xbox 360 to PS3?

I noticed that many xbox 360 games are coming to the pc at one point or another. Someone offered my $400 for my X360 with Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. Since I have a pretty nice pc I figured that I can wait until these games come to pc. PS3 on the other hand, has many exclusive games. I figure I might just put in another $100 and get the PS3 over the X360. When can I expect to see PS3's in stock other than this weekend? Thoughts, suggestions? Thanks.
 
I'd hold on to the 360 for at least a year until all the bugs have been worked out of the PS3 and they start to get some decent games out. Right now the game line up sucks and there is little relief in sight; the 360 on the other hand has a grip of good games on the way.
 
PS3 is a waste of money today. A year from now, when it has a library and the price has dropped maybe. At the moment you're losing ~$3-400 so you have to wait months to play the games you already own again on your PC...
 
I also say hold onto the 360 until the PS3 establishes a decent game library. They may even have fixed any bugs that may be found in the PS3 between now and then.
 
There's no reason whatsoever to buy a PS3 over an Xbox 360 right now.

Once PS3 actually gets some real games in a year, then at the point the change may be justified.

Where one point or another may means months or years.
 
I'd wait until some proven good titles actually come out on the PS3. Release dates are rarely set in stone, and nothing good is coming out anytime soon. Resistance: Fall Of Man looks nice, but isn't worth the leap away from the proven X360 console, community and game library.

Also, and it pains me as a oldschooler who prized shareware and played games on his 286, but gaming tends to be more fun nowadays on consoles. 🙁 Forget the hassle of getting together in a multiplayer game on the PC...Xbox Live has it all.
 
What is the PS3 going to have that the 360 won't have as well? It seems like 95% of the games are released on all the platforms anyway.
 
not to mention that XBOX has a much better live service, downloadable TV/Videos and about 4 million people online playing. It will get old playing online PS3 with 100k users the first 3 months.

Some notable games are FFXIII and Versus XIII (of course), White Knight, Hevaenly Sword, MGS4 (which will probably come to 360, but is unannounced as of now), Devil May Cry 4, and Lair
 
sell high, the 360 isnt getting anymore expensive.
i'd sell it, and then simply play my pc until ps3 is in stock and has a substantial library of relevant titles.

I wouldn't be impossible, since Metal Gear Solid 2 was remade for the Xbox, but it hasn't been verified for the 360 yet. However, MGS3 never came out for xbox...
 
Mass Effect, Alan Wake, Fable 2, GoW, others that will not be on PS3 (as far as I know). I guess Wake will be on the PC though and Fable 2 at some point.

As much as I like the idea of the wii, I think it won't do so well. So far the reviews for the games have been depressing compared to the PS3. Who didn't expect this though.
 
Yeah, just wait for MGS4 and Indiana Jones. Once those are released... sell that 360, since it will no longer serve a purpose =)
