Hey i just got my xbox 360 i created a profile and also signed in with my live account. Do i have to register my xbox 360 (warranty purpose) or is that automatically done for me?

Can i register thru my xbox 360 or do i have to do it via a pc online?
 
Either online or with the registration card included with your purchase. Just like every other warranty registration card that you normally toss in the garbage with every other purchase.
