Not sure this is the right place to ask...but figured ya'll will tell me where to go if I'm not in the right place. Anyway, can you I use any old USB Wireless G network adapter or do I have to use Microsofts?

Thanks

Nope. Only the MS branded USB Wireless G network adapter will work.

You can use almost any ethernet Wireless G network adapter though.

aahh..ok, so you use the network port on the Xbox and buy a Wireless G Network adapter that plugs into that port?? I'll have to do some searching on the net then to find one of those.

thanks

Alternatively, you can get a Linksys (V4 or earlier or WRT54GL) or Buffalo routers, flash them with DD-WRT and set them up as bridges.

Qwest...thanks for the link...now that I think about it...we have a similar setup that we had for the PS2 a while back...but it has been shelved, so I forgot all about trying it out. Guess when I get home I'll break it out and give it a try.

thanks

Yep I have a set that I bought for my regular xbox. hooked it up to my 360 and works perfectly. Its just a network connection. It really doesn't care what it's connected to.
