XBOX 360 Profile/GT Question ....

Can't seem to find an answer to this so I figure I will ask the experts.

I have some XBOXes at home (3 actually) and I am consolidating down to 2 and will just move one around where needed.

On Xbox 1 there is a Profile, call it X and there are game achievements and saves under it.

On Xbox 1 there is a Profile, call it Y and there are game achievements and saves under it.

I want to get all the achievements and game saves under 1 profile on 1 Xbox and have that be my permanent profile and delete the others.

Is this possible??

The achievements will be under the profile. You can load profiles onto other systems but achievements are tied to it.

Yup, best you can do is have 2 GT on one console but the achievements will be separate.

I know I can move the profiles and the game saves from one box to another but once I do that I want to move the saves (my biggest concern) to another profile on the box and then remove the other profile I copied over (ie so everything is under one profile only thus making things easier)

I only want 1 profile on each box and all game saves I have under that 1 profile

Saves are also tied to the profile, so you'll have to switch profiles for whichever game you're playing. Not that it helps you now, but you should have gotten a cheap memory card to keep your profile on, then just bring the memory card to whatever console you're using.

Actually, this sounds like a better way.

1) Login with your Live account
2) Goto the Games tab
3) Click "Played Games"
4) Select the game you wanna copy
5) Goto "Stored Game Items"
6) Delete any game saves under the name of the live profile
7) Click on the save game of the old profile and Copy
8) Select Hard Drive and POW!

edit 2: Actually, that appears to be just for going from a non-live account to a live account. Maybe using the Datel Xplorer 360 is indeed the only way? Not sure.

Well this would help some as 2 profiles on 1 box are "nonlive" accounts and I want to put them on my "live" account (ya know the blowfish one 😉. So this might help satisfy me.

I am ok with losing achievements but not my place in games since it takes me a long time to finish things due to lack of playing time.

Unfortunately this does not work. Everything I tried just gives me the "this item cannot be transferred between profiles" error.

This sucks 🙁
