I have an Athlon64 3500+ clocked at 2.5ghz with an X1800XT 512mb card. It plays every game I can throw at it just fine (obviously). Now, I do console game a little but prefer to play on my computer due to the keyboard+mouse combo and just because I like it. I had the chance to purchase an XBox 360 Premium for $313 shipped from Overstock and I jumped on the deal. I had no intentions before of purchasing it but figured if I changed my mind by the time it got here I could ebay it and make $60-$70. I do have a brand new Hitachi 51" CRT HDTV and my father-in-law has a 360 with a lot of games that he'll let me borrow. With that, do you guys think it's worth it for me to keep this system or should I just sell it. I mean, technically speaking, me NOT selling it costing me $370-$380 (what I could get for it off ebay). I'm also not sure about it staying at $400 with the Wii and PS3 coming out.
So, with that, is this system really worth keeping or should I just stick to my PC? Also, I've read the 360 has an X1900XT equivalent ATI chip with three PowerPC 3.2 ghz processors. Is this true, and how fast is it in computer terms?
Thanks!
