Only $900! What a savings, I think I have that kind of looses change in my couch :p
Not knocking the deal but come on these companies are crazy as all hell charging $900 for a damn console. WTH with pickles and mustard on a warm oven toasted bagle with cream cheese do they think we're that crazy as a fox?
Man I have smelled socks on a monkies redass ape that made more sense then B&N selling me a huge bag of wieners.

You can build a powerhouse of a PC for $900. I probably paid around $500 total for my Xbox + all the accessories/games I've bought for it up to this point. Grabbing a console for $900 at launch is pretty insane, but hey if you're rich, whatever.

Hey moron, I knew that. I was born at night just not last night and didnt feel I had to explain to anyone that for $900 it was more then a console they got it should be automatic. They should have a brain themselves to understand what I wrote and KNEW you got more then just the "damn console" for $900. I mean come on how long has these deals been in hot deals and with my years here and post count you actually thought I was that dumb. You been here longer with a higher post count should of known I knew there was more to it for that price :p

Whoa, wait a sec... so it costs THAT much and it still doesn't have the hard drive? Holy mother of god the end of my console gaming is here. $100 bucks for the wireless adapter is pretty regoddamdiculous if you ask me, especially since the old ones will work and you can get those for cheaper.

Hate to break up a good flame war, but Wal-Mart already has the demo unit out. They stuck it on (what looks like) a 1280-pixel LCD, and ran Call of Doody 2 at full res. Image was sharp and detailed, even for distant objects. You might not think playing in HD is a big deal (especially if you play on a PC) but it really jumps out at you. Didn't get to play myself, some kid was hogging it. :(

Oh, and my big dream is to get one, and put JBoss on it. :D

If you're lucky, maybe Sony will allow you to integrate the PS3 with your PC, and will take it over and hide DRM malware that you can't remove. :)
