Xbox 360 on a FPD2185w

I'm gonna get an Xbox 360 soon, and with my 2185w having component inputs, I was hoping to use it as an HDTV. Can I do this and have it look good? My PS2 looks like crap through the component inputs, but the 360 being much stronger, I have high hopes for high def output.

I haven't kept track about anything Xbox has done. All I know is that the general nickname for it is the suxbox, and I still have yet to see it look better than my computer or even good on any monitor. I've seen it displayed on some HDTV's at BEST BUY and stuff, but I wasn't impressed. The only thing I like about console gaming is that the games come out left and right, so you always have a variety and a great supply of it.

I got my xbox 360 hooked up to my dell 2405FPW. The reason why your ps2 games look crap on that monitor is because its an Widescreen monitor. ALL xbox 360 has to support 720p which is a Widescreen res. Yes The xbox 360 will look great on your monitor : )

It really doesn't have anything to do with the console being more powerful. The game just needs to support widescreen or it looks crap on your monitor.

Question: I know the Gateway monitor has Component inputs, but where do you connect the sound from the Xbox 360 to?
I want to get this monitor and the xbox 360.

And the 2185FPW doesn't support 1080-anything, it's 1680x1050 resolution. You'll be cutting off 30 or so pixels from the top and bottom.
