Hey, I was wondering if anyone had the screw layout or knew what screws I needed for the motherboard on an Xbox 360. A friend recently gave me his that has RROD and apparently he and one of my other friends took it apart. This is a problem in that they don't exactly know anything about hardware. So anyway, I took it apart and all the screws are missing and the motherboard is sitting against the case completely uninsulated. I'm not sure whether or not they tried to power it up while it was uninsulated, but I hope not and if they did, I hope it didn't do any damage.
Anyway, I'm trying to figure out what kind of screws I need to get this thing back into normal shape. Or if there are any particular screws and washer combinations that I can get to fix it. I've found the fix for the RROD, which I figure I will try and it's only going to cost maybe $10 or so to attempt to get this thing back on its feet. So has anyone done this before?
As well, if I were to buy some screws and washers at Ace, could I just use nylon washers or something for insulation? Thanks.
