XBox 360 Media Center

I have a 360 and a Windows XP computer both on the same network, and after following the instructions on xbox.com/pcsetup and on my 360, I can't get them to connect to each other. My 360 doesn't detect the computer. Any suggestions? It never asked me on the xbox website for the authorization code that my xbox gave me......

Do you have Windows XP Media Center edition? If not then your 360 won't connect to your PC as a media extender. For that you need either XP MCE, Vista Home Premium (or better), or Windows 7 Home Premium. You can still connect to it and share videos and music just not through the extender interface. You have to setup Windows Media Player to allow your XBox 360 to share your library which is in the options menu for Media Player.
