I've been searching all day and I can't find an answer, hope someone can help me. I've got my 360 plugged into a new Acer monitor via HDMI. I modified the stock component cable so it would physically fit and plug in at the same time as the HDMI. From there I have the audio RCA output coupled to a mini plug and into my computer speakers. I know the audio works because I can hear the 360 boot up sound. But with both cables plugged in the monitor doesn't recognize the video input from the HDMI. If I unplug the component it recognizes the HDMI just fine. Does anyone know a work around for this to get the monitor to recognize HDMI while still getting the audio out through the component cable?
