Hi,

In my travels, I saw an xbox 360 game that had Spanish on the box and the manual was also in Spanish.

I was assured that the game could be played in English.

Is this a legitimate game for me to buy? Will it play in my xbox? Will it get me banned on xbox live? Is it legal to buy it?

Any one encounter this?

As long as the package says the game is NTSC (not PAL or NTSC-J), you're ok. Some games do have multiple language tracks. You're taking a risk that it could be in Spanish only though.

It's 100% legal to buy a game from a different country as long as it's in the same region. It's only illegal if you mod your 360 to play games from Europe or Asia.

I think there is an increasing number of US games being released in Spanish. I know that Halo 3, Madden is available in Spanish.

The US is bilingual now. Unofficially anyway. It's just like how a lot of Canadian games are localized in French as well as English.

Thanks for your input.

I've ordered a copy of Lost Oddyssey for xbox 360 for $10.50 plus shipping.

Wish me luck.
