Xbox 360 DVD Question

Hi,

How do you know which DVD model the Xbox 360 has without opening the case? Mine is having problems reading some games and I am thinking maybe ordering a replacement lens for it.

Any help appreciated.

No offense, but if you're going to replace the lens, you'll have to open it anyway.....

It's the notches in the CD tray that give it away.

Supposedly the Toshiba-Samsung is easier to flash the drive's firmware to read copied Xbox 360 games.
