Xbox 360 Controllers

This is a new one. Went to play xbox 360 last night and tried to turn on my controller and neither would sync up

I tried switching out batteries, rebooting several times, and going through the connect procedure multiple times without success. The x in the middle of the controller continually blinks all 4 quadrants green

anyone know the fix?

have you tried pressing the sync button on both the controller and the xbox itself? sounds like they just need to re-sync with each other.

EDIT: I am referring to the white button on top of the controller, not the guide button.

Yes. I click connect on the xbox, then the connect on the controller. the system does the loop of green light seemingly looking for the controller... but the controller sits there blinking green

I've had problems with this, and I don't remember exactly how I solved it but I think I had to hold down either the controller sync button after pressing the xbox sync button or both. Try something along those lines?

I remember seeing something about a connect problem if you have the wireless headset.... That is if you have a wireless headset....

I have the wireless headset that comes wiht the system, but it's not connected. i've also been using the system for months without issue. this is all of a sudden

I think calling the 800 xbox number really would be the best solution. If you're pressing the correct connect button on both devices, you're doing everything you're supposed to be doing.
