xbox 360 controller

Is this the best gamepad I can get for my pc? The pricing seems a little expensive but is it worth it for emulators etc;?

Is it a USB controller than connects right in and is plug + play? What are your thoughts on this controller?

I like it, it's easy to set up, and most games will automatically map it for you.
It's got plenty of buttons, sticks and triggers, and it has a light on it.
What more could you ask for?
It does seem expensive, but it's worth it IMO.

Best controller ive ever had, and im not too sure but i think you can now use the wireless controllers on pc aswell now.

all you do is plug it in, the install driver screen comes up click "connect to internet to find driver and itll install it for you then your done.

They sell a wireless PC specific version, or you can buy the transmitter seperately for existing 360 controllers. Works great either way. Using it with Vista x64 with no problems.

Are they all USB or do some have some proprietary plug? The packaging never reveals the plug...

BTW, Radioshack has the wireless for $40 last I checked. Is there any lag with the wireless version? I'm not even sure why wireless devices EVER lag

All USB.

I haven't noticed any lag, but then again gamepads always feel sloppy to me whether wired or not.

Xbox 360 gamepad is great I like it very much when i play Madden game. ou wont be disappoint when you buy it. Trust everybody.

Yea, you can use wireless controller for your PC. I have 2 wireless controllers for my 360 and decided I wanted to play racing games on my PC, so I went to Microcenter and bought a USB adapter that receives the 360 controller on PC.

I've got a wired one, and I love it. Works excellently with any "Games for Windows" game that you'd want a controller for.

I have the wireless controller. It's a little buggy since the wireless PC adapter is a power hog it requires a dedicated USB card for it to work. I had to buy a pci USB hub and it finally worked. Other than that it's the best controller I've used besides my trusty KB/M.
