Never tried the Logitech, i have no doubt it is a good controller.

Choose whichever is cheaper, my X360 controller is brilliant and well made, i just think the D pad sucks.

The Xbox 360 controller was one of the finest every made. Though the D-Pad does indeed suck. No good for playing old school games. They're still selling for $40.

The Logitech is only $20 so you'll get what you pay for. However, their stuff is usually top notch. I'd get that if you're not looking to spend a lot.

Been using the DualShock 4 myself lately since it has a really good d-pad. Ironically it gets more use on my PC than my PS4. The newer console controllers are way too expensive though to just go out and buy.

F310 is meh, no analog triggers and I still have mine laying around, on that subject the F710 is probably by far the worst controller I've used- it's very ergonomically uncomfortable, triggers and sticks are super stiff and the drivers causes some unnecessary input lag (very noticeable in games like NFS Shift 2). The 360's controller is fine but I found that the sticks gets loose after a while and becomes inaccurate when playing a driving game or FPS (lol FPS with a controller on a PC), personally go with an XB1 controller or DS4 if you have a spare one (although DS4 doesn't work properly in Win 10 yet).

I have an F710 and I'm not terribly happy with it. I only keep it around because I don't use controllers that often (mostly racing games). Definitely not fond of the stick placement.

Logitech one for $20.4 and Microsoft Xbox one which gave link of is for $30. Confused. I am a PC gamer with no Console at my current home.

For a PC you need one of these:

Wired 360 controller, it plugs into USB and never needs batteries.

-or- wireless controller and a separate USB receiver that is normally not included.

Your link says "wired" controller so it will work when you plug it in to USB. Any real xbox 360 wired controller will work, you do not need to buy a "PC version" for wired controllers.

I've been using a 360 controller with my PC for years, and I can highly recommend it. No recent experience with any other controller because I haven't been looking for a replacement. The only negative aspect of the 360 controller is the D-pad, but everything is great.

Get the Xbox one controller. They've improved the D-pad and it uses Micro-USB so you can get the wireless one and then still use it without batteries and should you damage the cable, any good micro-usb cable will work. Then should you want to use it wireless. You can get the receiver from MS in the future.

It would have been perfect if I was bluetooth. The d-pad is still not n par with the DS4, but fool PC support give it the edge I think.
