Well first of all let me tell you a little about myself. I am new at anandtech and I am lookin forward to healping anyone with any questions they might have. I am a certified tech for the US Army. I have been in the service for 3 years now and looking for retirement in 20 years. Now lets get to buisness..
Problem: XBox 360 has 1 red light that comes on when the auxilary cables are pluged in.
Inspection: Determining by the steps I took to find the component, I found that the auxilary jack ( J3A1 ) is no longer good.
From my opinion, someone pluged the auxilary cables in wrong and fried the jack.
Summary: I have looked everywhere for the component J3A1. I have yet been able to find the component without tearing another Xbox apart. Is there anyone that might know of a plcae where I can purchase components. Feel free to e mail me at billy.willyard@us.army.mil
