XBOX 360 Cable Question

Hello all -

I have an older (non HDMI) XBOX 360 that is currently connected to my 37" Toshiba LCD HDTV. The TV is a 720P TV. The TV is about 1 year old and has a Game Mode option on it (although I'm not exactly sure what it benefit it provides).

What is everyone's opinion on connecting my XBOX 360 to this TV with a VGA cable instead of the component cables? Would I notice any appreciable difference in picture quality? Is it worth the $40 for the Microsoft VGA cables?

Thanks in advance!!

EDIT : I should mention that I only play games on the XBOX 360 and do NOT use it for DVD movies. Thanks.

you probably wont see a unnoticeable different, unless you're hard pressed for inputs on your TV, just use components.

Depends:
1. If you're going to watch DVDs using the 360, get the VGA cable.
2. If your TV seems to process VGA better than component, get the VGA cable. There's no inherent IQ difference between the two, though.

Otherwise, stick with component.
