Xbox 360 arcade

Hi, I was thinking of getting my son the arcade version of the 360 for xmas. . . and I know it doesn't come with a hard drive. I was going to pick up a refurbished 20 gig hard drive for it. The thing that concerned me - is that do they ban consoles based off of hard drives? I'd hate to get this for him and find out that the previous owner was banned or something. . .

If it's a genuine hard drive then you'll be fine. I've heard they ban consoles if the drive had been swapped to include a non official drive, but people only do that to get a higher capacity drive so that shouldn't be an issue on the 20gig drives. Also, this would probably be better here:
