I totally feel you on this...in fact I could've written the same exact post, using the exact same words in the exact same order. I"m even 24. A lot of my friends still play computer/video games, like diablo 2 even, or other stuff....they always try to get me to play, but I'm just bored with it. I'll play Madden once a week maybe for a few hours, but like you said, I'd rather be out 'playing' with girls, than playing video games.

If it comes down to paying rent, and buying food I really like, or buying an xbox 360, paying rent and skipping meals......I'm just not enthralled enough with video games to go for it

Have you heard that Microsoft might have a shortage? How about how Gamestop took all of these preorders, and now may not be able to fill them until April?

I'm #2, #3, and #11 on the preorder lists at EBGames. Unless EBGames gets no 360s (unlikely) then I am guaranteed my three preorders on launch day.

I am 26 years old and I could care less. I just don't have the time to stay home and play video games. If I do have any free time, I would be with my buddies or playing golf. Ok, may be I will throw in an hour of Civ 4 here and there. At least I could use my PC other than just playing games.

eh....~$200 profit per console is pretty good. I'm going to try and pick up two more on Tuesday and see how it goes.

I think it's kind of cool, but I'm a PC gamer for the most part and don't really care. I'm not dedicated to PC gaming, quite the contrary, I just don't care about gaming much anymore.

I just played Xbox 360 today. I was actually impressed with the demo of Call of Duty. Not because it looks like the PC version (PC version looks much better) but because it is much better than the older consoles. I was looking at the videos of the other demos they had. Those were less than impressive I thought. I kinda get the feeling the performance of the Xbox 360 is really not that great. If I had an old PC, then I could see myself considering it. I have a nice PC though and as such, was not tempted to buy the Xbox 360 even though I can afford it and even though I already have an Xbox, PS2, GC Dreamcast and PSP.

last time I bought a gaming system it was the Nintendo Game Cube. I had it for about a month, then I sold it. Overall I lost about $20 from it.

Reason I sold it? I never played it. I was big into my N64 back when that was new, but I guess over time I just sorta grew up and grew outta the whole console gaming thing.
And back in the day I used to be crazy about games: shooters, rpgs, strategy, etc. Then when I got my car, all that sorta changed.
