Xbox 360 Achievements

My Xbox 360 is always connected to the internet, and I’m always signed into Xbox Live whenever the console is on, so I’ve never run into this issue before. However, I’m going to bring my console with me over the holidays where I won’t have an internet connection. Here’s my question:

What happens if I do something in a game which earns me an achievement while I’m disconnected from Xbox Live – do I lose out on the achievement?
 
No, as long as you are signed in to your account it will be there. If you go to Xbox.com during that time, you won't see it. But as soon as you connect to the interner it will update all that.
 
All you achievements are belong to us!

But seriously, once you reconnect to the net you will get all the achievements.
