XBOX 360 Accessories and Previews

They did a nice job of integrating a lot of them, however they seem very overpriced.

Also, wasn't the 360 supposed to have wireless capability built in? I could have swore MS said it would. Also, weren't all the controllers supposed to be USB compatible or something so you could use them both on your PC and the 360. I think I saw them selling a special PC version of the 360 a while ago (maybe it was just the announcement of it).

Actually, how do the wired controllers connect? I don't recall seeing controller ports, and isn't there only two USB ports? Hmm. Personally for me, I don't need or want the wireless ones. I hate the fact that it doesn't have a lithium ion rechargable included/built in (well removable would be better). So, either you have to put up with switching AAs or else pay another $20 to get a the play and charge kit. Blah.

I can't blame them for milking the accesories as much as they can, as I know thats one way they plan on limiting the losses on the hardware, but I don't see any of them being worth what MS is charging for them.

I presume you are referring to neworking? Yeah, I think at one time it was presumed that wireless networking would be built in... But things change.

The wired controllers are USB, and yes, you can use them on your PC.

I won an xbox 360 over 5 days ago from every10minutes.com.

I have yet to recieve confirmation. :|

send them an email and see if they respond back

I called yesterday and got the cookie cutter reply -

"If you don't get a confirmation in account history, you didn't win, bla bla"

I find it highly unlikely someone other than me from my small-ass town won at 3:30am. 😛

Oh well. :frown:
