Question Xbox 1 controller with FiveM?

(FiveM is a community-based GTA V multiplayer mod...)


My new Xbox 1 controller,the "wired" version...won't work in-game.

Other games, like Spintires Mudrunner,work fine.

Oddly,single-player GTA V works perfectly with the new Xbox 1 controller.

This is with the Steam version of GTA V.

Works fine for me with the xbox one wireless controller and windows 10. I have FiveM mod as well and the steam version of GTA5. No issues.

How did you manage to get it working?

Mine is being weird in terms of not wanting to work.

I didn't do anything special. It just worked.

Have you calibrated your controller within windows?

Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Devices and Printers

right click Xbox controller and select "game controller settings" > a window will appear named "game controllers" and will list any controllers currently plugged in. select the Xbox controller and click properties. Next window click the settings tab and then the calibrate button.

I should add that I never performed this before but I knew it was available.
