Changed my XBMC to NTSC 720p output and originally everything was excellent.
Display was set to 720p 16:9 not auto.
Made a throw-away remark to a friend that my hdd games still loaded at 480i.
Now this morning I find that no matter what I do a game keeps loading at 720p. The result is that I have thick black bars down the side of the screen rather than a full-screen image [it played fine full screen yesterday].
I have set resolution in "appearance" to NTSC 4:3, turn auto-switch display off, turned off/on display prefs in "my progs" [seems to make to no diff]
Yet NO MATTER WHAT I do the game keeps loading in 720p with a squashed-up image despite everythig else even forced to remain at NTSC 4:3
Any advice on how to fix is appreciated.
Ideally I want XBMC to be in 720p but games to switch to 480i [ie the way they were behaving for the past few days
I am running XBMC 2.0.1
