it looks nice, but they'll need phones with game pads for me to be interested.

I think sony and google are taking the right approach to this: their new phone will have a dedicated game pad and it seems like other 3rd party manufacturers will be able to make phones that play sony games as long as they meet their gamepad specs.

Looks interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing if WP7 and their hardware manufacters are going to be up to snuff. I'm still bummed about WP7's notification/multitasking systems though but I'll hold judgement for now.

Pretty cool. I don't really play games on my phone, but still...impressive looking.

The games they have so far don't look that impressive to me. I was hoping you could DL any of the XBLA games like the ones for the xbox. But still, this has a LOT of promise. Too bad the rest of the OS and interface looks dated and clunky.

I don't see the appeal in phone gaming, especially phones that only have touchscreens.

XBLA integration is a useless feature for me personally.

I think those that have a lot of XBLA games and those that have the ecosystem will be the ones that benefit the most from this. Other than that, you can get similar kinds of games on the iOS platform, just not as easy to port.

I bet Windows Mobile will get tons of games due to the XNA support, it's just so easy (relatively speaking) to make games with it.

Entertainment on the go + the fact you get to carry less devices seems like a good case for phone gaming to me.

Phone gaming has been around since phones had screens that displayed more than just numbers (remember Snake -- first game preinstalled on a mobile phone)? and it's just until recently that it's becoming more and more popular.

with screen sizes getting as large as they are lately, its not unlike sitting down with a PSP or a DS. i think it would be cool to be able to play a game with my kids while they are home and im out of town.
