XBL Fall preview update is live

For everyone entered in the preview, in case you have not visited the private beta forums, the XBL dashboard update went live about 12pm PST. Check for your updates!
 
It is the beta "preview release" of the new dashboard. if you didn't sign up for the preview and get accepted into the program the update will not be available to you.

Ok this is what I figured but was hoping it was the actual release since it's already November.

The Fall dashboard update has been released as late as early December in the past. I wouldn't be surprised to see this one then too because of the dramatic changes.
 
You know you aren't supposed to talk about the specific details outside the private forums @ xbox.com right? This can cause you to get banned from XBL by violating your NDA as a beta participant....

Does this cloud mean I can finally run a 2nd xbox without a USB stick / mem card? I can just play the games I like on both and continue where I left off??
 
Does this mean though that if XBox Live is down, then you can't login to your profile and accumulate achievements? Or would the offline/local profile still exist and soon as Live came back up it would connect and update?

It would still be local, AFAIK. I don't have two xbox's to test the theory on though, sorry.

Never thought of that, this is amazing for people with two Live connected XBoxs!
Outside of Forza and BF3, is it weird that the dashboard update is my third most looked forward to piece of software this year? 😛
