I have 3 of these things from old original Xbox games and my 1-year sub just ran out. I've tried signing up for a new account with 2 of the 3 codes and so far none of them have worked, is it too late to use these things?

I've been going through the dashboard on my 360, will I have better luck if I try it using an original Xbox/game instead? Or could I maybe call in the codes and get new ones? XBL subs are expensive.

I'm not sure about the codes, but you can get a 13 month XBL subscription from Buy.com for $33 after the Google Checkout discount. Link

My brother picked one up for $28 after GC. The price must fluctuate or maybe his did not have free shipping included at the time.

Is there an expiration date on the cards? I found an old 48-hour trial card a couple of months ago and it had expired.

Yeah they've since expired, but I'd heard they can still be activated even after the exp date, but I suppose not. I also found a few 48-hour codes lying around from 360 games that are still good, but I get an error every time I try to redeem the code. Are the XBL servers still overloaded from Christmas time? I guess they just don't want me playing.
